We got up bright and early this morning to pick up our NUC. Arrived back home and quickly put on our jacket and veils so we could take a peek at our new hive.

We decided to check our first hive a day early. Plus we were worried and wanted to know if things were going like they should. Everything seems to be going well, we have capped brood, capped honey and lots of larva. The queen looks well and is very busy! Patiently waiting our second hive. Oh, who am I kidding, it's driving me crazy waiting.....
Distributor has finally given a new date. So, we wait, and wait. I think it's going to drive me insane. I can't wait to get both hives going. Next hive should be here Saturday, April 26th. We drove, well hubby drove I rode, almost an hour to north Georgia to pick up our #3 package of BEES! Here we go............... Both hives are ready waiting on our Bees! It does look like we'll only be picking up one of our hives this Saturday. The distributor for the other has put off delivery. We'll find out soon when that will be.  An article even in the deer magazine. Got to love a group that plants dutch clover!
